The challenge
John stores one-ton sacks of grain inside ground-level shipping containers, with the grain elevated on pallets so it does not touch the floor. Despite this, the sealed containers would regularly trap heat and humidity, creating moisture conditions that damaged the grain (up to 30% loss) and produced toxic, overwhelming fumes, especially during periods of high heat.

John installed the 360 Products DRY-CON X® venting system to move air through the sealed storage containers.
Documented outcome
According to John, the interior environment dramatically improved. The container is now comfortable to enter even on extreme heat and humidity days, and the venting successfully curtailed the moisture-related grain loss.
