The challenge
This oceanfront home experienced significant septic odors caused by coastal winds forcing fumes out of the breather stacks on the roof. The issue made both indoor and outdoor living spaces unpleasant.
What was installed
Under the recommendation of Telder Engineering, two carbon-based filters topped with 360 Air Vac units were installed on the vent stacks.
Documented outcome
The odor problem was eliminated immediately. As of four years after installation, the home remained odor-free in all wind conditions, providing a long-term, maintenance-free fix.
